Ayanda Ntanzi’s One Man Show Features two Allen & Heath dLives
“Jesu Bomi” hitmaker Ayanda Ntanzi performed at a sold-out Durban ICC alongside his band and the great Philharmonic Orchestra.
”According To Grace” A One Man Show Album Launch was hosted at Durban ICC in front of a sold-out crowd. The 10,000 strong crowd reveled in Ayanda’s energetic performances of gospel & worship music in an arena which has hosted some of the biggest acts in the world such as Enrique Iglesias, James Blunt, Kelly Clarkson and Andre Rieu
Some of the highlights of the evening included Ayanda levitating from the ICC ceiling to amazement of the crowd, and the insanely good sounding show thanks to the Live Engineers and Audio Processing on the Allen & Heath dLive console.
The entire event was mixed on Allen & Heath consoles which featured two Allen & Heath dLive S5000’s with matching Allen & Heath DM64 mixracks. One of the desks was assigned to the Front Of House and Recording tasks with the remaining dLive handling the In Ears and Monitor mixes for the large contingent of musicians.
With two 12″ Touchscreens, 28 Faders, 26 Assignable Soft Keys, and 6 Assignable Rotaries, the dLive S5000’s are more than capable of handling even the largest shows. The DM64 MixRacks were selected by the team as they offer 64 mic/line inputs, 32-line outputs, 3 I/O Ports, with Redundant Surface Link & Redundant DX Links just in case!
The show was an overwhelming success with the highest production value.
A Special Thank you to the team from TNM Supplies.
