Recently, the team took delivery of over 200 square meters of Lampro LDAII indoor LED panels with a 2.5mm pixel pitch. Each panel features a lightweight 7.8kg die‑cast aluminium cabinet, a 60mm ultra‑slim profile, and supports both front and rear maintenance with tool‑free module assembly. Advanced heat‑dissipation technology keeps operating temperatures around 43°C, significantly lower than many conventional LED panels. Additional technical advantages include data and power redundancy, XYZ axis micro‑adjustments for cabinet flatness (≤0.2mm), and a robust anti‑collision design. GB Sound purchased over 100 LDAII 640×480 panels, with the primary goal of creating multiple 10 × 5.5m screens to replace projection systems at conferences. Grant explained:

“The reason why I bought them was to make multiple 10 by 5.5 screens to take over projection at conferences. I already have the stands, so you put them up like a projector. That was the main purpose. All the work I’ve done with them so far has been larger screens—especially the last one we did now for the President.”

For a recent MTN event, GB Sound utilized approximately 70% of their available panels:
