Lloyiso’s Elephant In The Room Tour makes stops at the Old Biscuit Mill in Cape Town and at the Boardwalk in Gqeberha with the Allen & Heath Avantis on double duty!

Lloyiso is one of the top-performing artists in South Africa. With chart-topping singles such as Real Love, Seasons and Speak… every stop he made on his tour was welcomed by crowd singalongs that echoed into the evening. His “The Elephant In The Room” Tour booked dates in Cape Town and Gqeberha. The appointed production company Aurras Group, deployed 2 Allen & Heath Avantis digital mixers to coordinate both the Front-of-House and Monitor mixes at the events.

The Avantis is a 64-channel digital mixer platform featuring Allen & Heath’s lauded XCVI FPGA processing engine. The mixer features dual 15.6” Full HD capacitive touchscreens, 24 assignable Softkeys and 24 faders with 6 layers all making navigation and browsing easier. With the Avantis’ class-leading 0.7ms latency, two 128×128 I/O Ports for Audio Networking, 16 DCAs, and add-on processing from the flagship dLive ecosystem the mixer is fast becoming the first choice for shows and venues around the world.

For personal monitoring, an ME-U hub with 7 ME-1s was used. The ME-U is a 10-port PoE hub by Allen & Heath. It is compatible with Avantis, SQ, dLive & Qu, and offers endless integration with 3rd party options like MADI, Dante and Waves Cards. It is a 2U rack, touring grade quality hub that features 10 ports with locking Ethercon connectors, with each port providing power + audio to an ME-1 or ME-500. This configuration makes monitoring a lot easier with each member band having precise control of their mix from the source.

The Allen & Heath Avantis was utilized on both shows in the tour where they were met with sold-out crowds. For both dates, the Aurras Group provided the Avantis mixers for FOH and Monitoring for seamless control.
