The DSPPA D62 Conference System Brings Farmers Together at NAMPO Headquarters

The DSPPA D62 Conference system is a winner at the NAMPO Headquarters in Bothaville in the Free State Province. Grain SA’s NAMPO is one of the largest agricultural exhibitions under private ownership in the Southern Hemisphere and, strives to enable and expose producers and role players in the industry to the latest trends in technology and products on offer in the farming industry first-hand. Their team were thrilled to receive their DSPPA Conference System in time for the annual Harvest festival coming up in May.

The D62 System from DSPPA is a Digital Conference System that can commission up to 4096 channels while connected to 11 translation units allowing for simultaneous interpretation in 12 languages in its largest configuration. The features of the D62 system include the main Discussion mode with multiple meeting modes such a FIFO, Normal, Free, Voice or Apply, as well as Voting, Sign-In and Video Tracking for up to 4 HDMI cameras.

For the NAMPO Headquarters the team decided on a single D6221 Chairman Microphone unit with Priority Control and 54 of the D6222 Delegate units. These base microphone units conform to IEC60914 standards and features an automatically muted speaker and a 3.5mm headphone connection with 5 buttons for voting and an LCD screen to feedback info such as voting results, and sign-in number. The Chairman and Delegate units both receive their power and signal from a single cable that links all the units together to keep things simple and neat. The D6201 base is a sturdy metal rack mounted module controlled via a 4.3” Color Touch Screen to access the deep DSP features such as a 14-band Graphic EQ, Frequency Shifter, or to connect an Android Mobile device for portable control.
