The USA Embassy in Mozambique fit CHAUVET Professional Lights

It gave Audiosure great pleasure to work with Bimex in supplying the US Embassy in Mozambique with their new CHAUVET Professional fixtures, which included 36 x CHAUVET Professional COLORado 2-Quad Zoom, and 10 x COLORado Q40. These impressive and rugged indoor/outdoor fixtures are both IP65-rated and allow the user to wash any building or structure with an array of RGBW colours.

The COLORado 2-Quad Zoom is a solid wash light featuring 14 bright quad-coloured Osram (RGBW) LEDs and a 7° to 45° zoom. Selectable dimming curves ensure that they can easily integrate into any existing rig. RGBW colour mixing and Zoom Control can be controlled manually or via DMX, with colour temperature presets from 3,200 to 10,000 K and 16-bit dimming of individual colours as well as a master dimmer control. They are constructed out of Aluminium die-cast making them robust and ready for use in any weather conditions.

The COLORado Panel Q40 is a powerful, rectangular wash light that features 40 x 15 W RGBW LEDs capable of flawless edge-to-edge colour mixing. This rugged unit can be manipulated through adjustable beam angles and includes a magnetic flood filter to produce a wide area wash. Control is via W-DMX and RDM and, with built-in Adjustable PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) you avoid flickering on camera. Selectable, smooth dimming curves on the fixture also eliminate flicker and choppiness in fades, and the fixture can also be controlled by its touchscreen interface with an easy-to-read OLED display.
